Asia: found in China, Tibet, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Vietnam
Taxonomy
Formerly classed as a member of the thrush family, but is now considered to belong to the Old World flycatchers (Muscicapidae).

Forest, woods, bush, scrub and town rubbish dumps,
Behaviour
Diet
Forages on the ground for insects and also hawks for flying insects.
