Identification
21cm (8.5 ins)
Male: Black patch on upper breast, lower breast and belly grey; darker grey on back and wings, with black primaries; crown and chin yellow, with broad black eye stripe.
Female differences: breast grey and mantle brown.
Juvenile: mostly yellow with black breast, primaries and eye stripe
Distribution
A rare endemic to the mountains of Borneo.

Feeds mainly on fruits.

Breeding season runs from February until June.
