Coenocorypha chathamica

Identification

Only known from fossils.
The exact time of extinction is not known, it may have survived until the 1800's. Clements now do not believe it survived past year 1500 and no longer includes the species.

Chatham Islands, New Zealand

This is a monotypic species[1].
