- Grey face
- Yellow throat patch with black borders
- Red nasal tuft
Distribution
Found in the Malay Peninsula and on Sumatra. Also recorded in South Thailand.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
The canopy, and edges of montane forests.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of various fruits and insects, particularly large arthropods.
Vocalisation
Explosive, descending notes - its call is like that of a cicada or chainsaw.
