  • Red crown and nape

Distribution

Sierra Leone and southern Guinea to southern Nigeria and southwestern Cameroon

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].
Placed in genus Chloropicus by Gill and Donsker.

Habitat

Primary and secondary lowland forests.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists of insects, beetle larvae and ants.
