Automolus cervinigularis

Identification

Distribution

Central America: South-eastern Mexico to north-western Panama, mostly on the Caribbean slope.

Taxonomy

Ochre-throated Foliage-gleaner, Chiriqui Foliage-gleaner, and Fawn-throated Foliage-gleaner were formerly considered a single species with the name of Buff-throated Foliage-gleaner.

Subspecies

Clements recognizes these subspecies[1]:

  • A. c. cervinigularis:
  • A. c. hypophaeus:

Subspecies amusos is now synonymised with cervinigularis
