Distribution
Christmas Island, (Indian Ocean south of Java).
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Tropical rainforest, monsoon forest and scrub.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes mainly insects though some small lizards and birds are taken.
Breeding
They nest in tree hollows.
