Family: Urocynchramidae
Description
A single species, the Przewalski's Rosefinch.
Taxonomy
Using molecular evidence, Groth (2000) proposed that Przewalski's Rosefinch should be regarded as the only member of the family Urocynchramidae, (something that had been originally proposed as long ago as 1918, based on morphology) and this change was adopted by Clements (2007). Urocynchramidae is a Family in the Order Passeriformes.
