Genus: Schoutedenapus

One species of African Swifts. These birds are small with long and deeply forked tails, resembling the Asian Aerodramus Swiftlets. The affinities of this genus are uncertain and both birds have been placed into the genus Apus. The formerly recognized Schouteden's Swift is only known by five collected specimens and is currently considered young birds of Scarce Swift. The range of Scarce Swift may be bigger than indicated.

Schoutedenapus is a genus in the Family Apodidae.
