Genus: Scenopoeetes
Description
This genus contains only one species, the Tooth-billed Bowerbird (or Catbird) from Australia.
The bill of this species is adapted for leaf-eating: notches and cusps on cutting edge of lower mandible fit into reciprocal indentations in closed upper mandible.
Taxonomy
Scenopoeetes is a genus in the family Ptilonorhynchidae.
