Genus: Ailuroedus
Description
Three species of Catbirds from Australia and New Guinea.
They share a cat-like call, a mainly green plumage and a much less complex display behaviour than other bowerbirds.
Taxonomy
Ailuroedus is a genus in the family Ptilonorhynchidae.
The genus Scenopoeetes is sometimes included in this genus.
