Genus: Pygochelidon
Description
The species in this genus have a forked tail and dark vent area, and is otherwise mostly white on underside and dark blue on upperside.
Taxonomy
Pygochelidon is a monotypic genus in the family Hirundinidae. A recently passed proposal in the SACC has added Black-collared Swallow to this genus, taking that species out of genus Atticora.
