Description

Tit Berrypecker and Crested Berrypecker from New Guinea.

Taxonomy

Paramythiidae is a family in the order Passeriformes.
Both genera were formerly placed in the family Dicaeidae (Flowerpeckers) and even suggested to be aberrant Bulbuls.
They are also sometimes placed in the Family Melanocharitidae.
