Genus: Onychostruthus
Description
Onychostruthus is a monotypic genus containing just one species, the White-rumped Snowfinch.
It differs in behaviour and molecular genetics from other Snowfinches. However, some authorities judge this differences as marginal and include it in the Pyrgilauda.
Taxonomy
Onychostruthus is a genus in the family Passeridae.
It's often included in Montifringilla or in Pyrgilauda.
