Genus: Eupetes
Description
This genus contains only one species, the unique Malaysian Rail-babbler.
Taxonomy
Eupetes is a genus in the family Eupetidae.
The relationships of this genus have long been highly disputed and it's often placed in the Babblers. However a recent study based on DNA sequences supports a relationship with the African Rockjumpers and the Picathartes. Following these results, this species would be the only member of the Eupetidae.
