Genus: Dasycrotapha
Description
This genus contains only a single species, the Flame-templed Babbler.
It stands outh with its unusual plumage pattern and its Mesia-like song.1
Visayan Pygmy Babbler and Mindanao Pygmy Babbler were formerly placed in genus Sterrhoptilus.
Taxonomy
Dasycrotapha is a genus in the Family Zosteropidae.
This genus was formerly merged in the genus Stachyris and placed in the family Timaliidae.
