Distribution
South-east Asia and Australasia: found in mangroves of southern New Guinea, north-eastern Queensland and adjacent islands.

This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Rainforest and mangroves.
Behaviour
Breeding
It nests in trees, building its nest from bark. The 2 eggs are incubated for 15 days.
Diet
The diet includes insects.
