Distribution
South America: found in central and eastern Bolivia, immediately adjacent Brazil and northern Paraguay.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Some authorities consider this species to be a subspecies of Northern Slaty Antshrike[1].
Habitat
Low level dense forest and woodland.
