Male
- Yellow forehead and crown, with chestnut wash
- Gold nape
- Black lores , cheek, ear-coverts, chin, throat, mantle and upper back
Distribution
West Africa: found from South-eastern Gabon (Lekoni) to central Angola and adjacent Republic of the Congo.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Wooded grassland.
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet appears to be grass seeds and insects.
