Distribution
South America: found in south-eastern Brazil (Rio de Janeiro to Rio Grande do Sul) to north-eastern Argentina
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Moist montane forests and plantations of Brazilian Araucaria (Araucaria angustifolia).
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists almost entirely of insects.
