Identification
11–12 cm (4¼-4¾ in)
- Greyish-brown forehead, crown, nape and upperparts
- Fine streaking on head
Distribution
Middle East: found in south-western Saudi Arabia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
High altitude bushy hills, rocky areas and cliffs.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of small seeds from grass, millet and various other plants and shrubs.
