Southeast Asia: Indochina and Myanmar

Subspecies

There are 3 subspecies[1]:

  • E. e. elegans:
  • E. e. ticehursti:
  • Eastern Amurland; winters to southern Manchuria to Shandong Province
  • E. e. elegantula:
  • Mountains of south-western China; winters to north-eastern Myanmar

Ticehursti is not recognised by all authorities[2].
