- Alophoixus flaveolus
Identification
22 cm. Brown crest, back olive-brown, lemon-yellow breast and belly, white fluffy throat, rusty wings and tail. Sexes alike. Juvenile resembles adult but crest not as prominent and browner belly.
Distribution
Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Burma, Nepal, and Thailand.

Habitat
Bushes and undergrowth in moist lowland forests.
Behaviour
The diet includes berries and insects.
It breeds April through July and builds low nest in undergrowth.
