Description

Upperparts olive-brown with broad, black streaks, broad bars on underparts, and greyish supercillium.

Distribution & Taxonomy

Four different subspecies share a range from Iceland through Europe to Siberia and China, with some southward migration in winter taking the species to e.g., south-east Asia and India.
