Distribution
Asia: found in coniferous forests of north-eastern Afghanistan, northern Pakistan and northern India; winters to Myanmar
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Breeds in evergreen and coniferous forests.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of small insects and larvae.

Their nest is constructed from dried grass, birch bark, lichen, animal fur and feathers, formed into a ball and placed about 12 m up or on the ground among tree roots.
