Identification

14 cm. Dark brown, large silvery-blue bill, white cheek, pink feet and creamy-white belly. Sexes are similar.

Distribution

Eastern Lesser Sunda Islands (Timor, Rote, and Semau)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.[1]

Habitat

Grasslands and lowlands.

Behaviour

The diet includes rice and seeds.
