Identification

11.5 - 12 cm

  • White eyering interrupted by a black spot at front
  • Black forehead and lores, merging into yellowish-olive of upperparts on forecrown
  • Yellow underparts, greenish wash on flanks and side of breast
  • Bright yellow bill
  • Yellow legs

Sexes similar. Juveniles haven't been described yet.

Endemic to Gizo (Ghizo) in western-central Solomon Islands.
