Identification

Upperparts are medium grey, except in the St. Vincent form which has blackish upperparts with olive uppertail coverts. Underparts are light grey with the exception of throat and vent areas that are rufous. Outer tail feathers are white. Feet and legs yellow.

Distribution

Dominica, Hispaniola, Jamaica, Martinique, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent.


Taxonomy

Each island has its own subspecies.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests and montanes.
