Clytoctantes alixii

Identification

It is named for its bill, which curves upwards. The Bushbird is 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) long. The male is slate grey, while the female is brown.

Distribution

Northern end of the Andes in Colombia and Venezuela

Taxonomy

Habitat

It inhabits well-developed secondary growth at 150-1750 m.

Behaviour

It is insectivorous
