Identification

13cm

  • Olive-brown plumage (lighter on belly)
  • Greyish face

Distribution

West Africa: found on the escarpment of western Angola (Vila Nova do Seles to Chingoroi area)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Found in dense foliage of subtropical or tropical dry forests.

Status

Endangered due to habitat loss.

The diet includes insects.

Call: tee-tchyoi or tee, ti-twuh.
