Identification
Yellow underparts, flanks streaked dark; upperparts are olive with rusty streaks on the back; yellow line above the eye, a dark like through it, a yellow spot inder it. Their legs are black, their tails are long, their bills are thin and pointed, and they have long tails. The females are duller in colour, as are the juveniles.
Distribution
Eastern North America. Other birds migrate to northeastern Mexico and islands in the Caribbean.

Brushy areas and forest edges.
Behaviour
They build nests of open cups, which are usually placed in a low area of a tree or shrub. They forage for insects on tree branches.
These birds wag their tail feathers frequently. They suffer from nest parasitism by the Brown-headed Cowbird.
