Plain-throated Antwren - BirdForum Opus

Identification

This bird has a plain throat; the male has black wings with 2 white wing bars, white tips to the tertials and to its tail. The female is olive brown with buff wing bars, and is cinnamon below with a pale throat.

Distribution

Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.

Taxonomy

Habitat

Subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

Behaviour

This bird stays fairly close to the ground.
