Overview
This park, to the west of Lillehammer, is an extensive area of bogs and forests of pine, spruce and birch, dominated by the 1128m Ormtjernkampen mountain.
Birds
Notable Species
Birds found in the park include Willow Ptarmigan and Black Grouse, Western Capercaillie, Golden Plover, Common Snipe, Common Redshank and other waders in the boggy areas and various waterfowl around the lakes. Raptors include Northern Goshawk and Eurasian Sparrowhawk, Merlin and Rough-legged Buzzard.

Other Wildlife
Botanically this is an area of great variety with Solomon's Seal and Lily-of-the-Valley in the more sheltered parts, Yellow Mountain Saxifrage, Large White Buttercup and Blue Sowthistle in more exposed areas and Crowberry, Heather and Dwarf Birch at higher altitudes.
Elk, Red Deer and Roe Deer occur in the park as well as many rodents. These are preyed upon by Lynx, Red Fox, Mink, Pine Marten and Wolverine.
