Charadrius veredus

Identification

Sandy-olive upperparts, buff white eyebrow, buff-grey upperbreast with white underparts, grey brown underwing.

Distribution

It breeds in Mongolia, and passes through east China on migration to Australia.

Taxonomy

Habitat

Open grasslands in arid and semi-arid zones.

Behaviour

Its diet includes insects.
