Identification

Distribution

Northeastern Ecuador to northeastern Peru.

Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Habitat

Shrubby clearings, pastures, second growth and forest edge between 400 and 1400 m elevation.

Behaviour

The nest is made of green moss, bound together with spider webs. Inside it's lined with dried grass and lichens. The eggs are buff with some brown flecking.
