Distribution

Lesser Sundas in Indonesia.

Taxonomy

Two subspecies are recognized[1].

  • O. m. melanotis - Eastern Lesser Sundas (Rote, Timor and Semau)
  • O. m. finschi - Wetar (eastern Lesser Sundas)

Habitat

Dry forests and mangrove forests.
