Hypsipetes mcclellandi
Identification
24cm. Fine white streaks on brown crown, grey brown throat and breast, olive yellow mantle, wings and tail, white belly, yellow undertail coverts. Crown feathers sometimes raised in short shaggy crest.
Distribution
Himalayas, southern China, southeast Asia and the Malay Peninsula.
Taxonomy
Sometimes also placed in genus Hypsipetes
Habitat
Forests and forest edges.
Behaviour
Diet includes fruits and berries.
