Identification
Distribution
Southern China, Tibet and Himalayas from Himachal Pradesh (India) to Nepal, Bhutan and north-eastern Burma.
Taxonomy
This species has formerly been included in Eurasian Treecreeper.
Subspecies
There are 3 subspecies:
- C. h. khamensis: Southern China (southern Gansu) to southern Tibet, Yunnan, north-eastern Myanmar and Bhutan
- C. h. hodgsoni: Western Himalayas (east to Himachal Pradesh)
- C. h. mandellii: Himalayas (Himachal Pradesh to extreme western Arunachal Pradesh)
