Distribution
South America: found in Colombia, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil
Taxonomy

There are 4 subspecies[1]:

- North-eastern Brazil (eastern Pará and Maranhão)

- South-eastern Brazil (Serra Espinhaço in Minas Gerais)
Habitat
Humid lowland, river-edge forests E of Andes, observed at heights between 488 m (1,600 ft) and 860 m (2,822 ft).
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet consists of nectar.
