Alternative name: Comoros Bulbul; Grand Comoro Bulbul

Hypsipetes parvirostris

Includes: Moheli Bulbul

Identification

Distribution

Africa: found only on the Comoro Islands (highlands of Grand Comoro and Mohéli).

Taxonomy

Two subspecies recognized:

  • H. p. parvirostris on Grand Comoro
  • H. p. moheliensis on Moheli

Moheliensis is sometimes considered a full species, Moheli Bulbul.[1]

Habitat

Moist montanes.
