Australia: found in Queensland and Victoria
Taxonomy
Formerly placed in the genus Lichenostomus.
Subspecies
There are 2 subspecies[1]:
- P. f. subgermana:
- East-central Queensland (Atherton Tablelands to about Sarina)
- P. f. fusca:
- Eastern Australia (Rockhampton, Queensland to south-western Victoria)
Habitat
Forests and bushland, open woodlands and gardens.
