Taxonomy
There are 2 subspecies[1]:
- C. f. flammiceps: Western Himalayas: Pakistan to Garhwal and western Nepal
- C. f. olivaceus : Eastern Himalayas: eastern Nepal to south-eastern Tibet and central China
