Distribution
Asia: found from India east to southern China, Myanmar, Thailand and Indochina.
Taxonomy
Previously included in genus Hirundo.
Subspecies
There are 2 subspecies[1]:
- P. c. concolor :
- P. c. sintaungensis:
Habitat
Gorges, cliffs, thorn forests.
Behaviour
Diet
There is no information about dietary items. They sometimes feed in groups, but more often alone or in pairs. They often associate with other hirundine species.
Breeding
It builds a half saucer shaped nest from mud, attached to walls of buildings.
