Genus: Psaltria

Description

This genus contains only one species from Java, Indonesia.
Pygmy Tit is a tiny, long-tailed and nondescript bird.

Taxonomy

Psaltria is a monotypic genus in the family Aegithalidae.
It's relationship with the other members of the family are unclear, however behaviour and vocalizations are very similar to other Long-tailed Tits.
