Identification
Similar Species
Very similar to Baudin's Black-Cockatoo apart from slightly shorter bill, and voice similar to east coast Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo.
Distribution
South-west Western Australia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1], which in the past has been viewed as part of White-tailed Black Cockatoo.
Habitat
Woodlands, heaths and scrub
Behaviour
Often feeds on ground.
