Central America: found in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

Taxonomy

There are 2 subspecies:

  • D. l. leucophrys:
  • D. l. hypospodius:

An additional subspecies nicaraguae is generally considered invalid[1].
