Distribution
South America: found in South-eastern Colombia to western Amazonian Brazil, eastern Ecuador and south-eastern Peru

This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Understorey of lowland evergreen forests to 750m.
Behaviour
Diet
Presumably eats insects and other arthropods, both from dead wood and in foliage.
