Identification

Distribution
Pakistan, India, north-eastern Myanmar, China and south-east Asia.
Taxonomy
Formerly placed in the genus Coracina.

Habitat
Open forest and groves.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet consists mostly of insects and invertebrates such as caterpillars, beetles and bugs. They also eat some fruit.
Breeding
Their nest is a small cup constructed from twigs, rootlets, fibres, bark and lichens. It is bound together with spider web.
