South-western China, Tibet, north-eastern India, Eastern Himalayas, Bangladesh, Bhutan
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Moist montanes marshes at heights around 2100m.
