40cm (15¾ in)
- Green overall plumage
- Black lores
- Turquoise crown
- Bluish-grey wash over crown and upper cheeks
- Bill: red in the male; grey-brown in the female
Distribution
South-east Asia: found in the montane forests of Buru (southern Moluccan Islands)

This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Montane forests generally above 600–700 m.
Behaviour
Partly nocturnal.
There is no information available on diet or breeding.
